Psychotherapy helps us find out who we really are by
releasing deeply held beliefs about ourselves that are not true or that no longer serve. An integrative psychotherapy also helps to restore our connection to what has heart and meaning. By working holistically with body, soul, mind, and spirit, we increase our capacity for awareness and emotional intimacy with ourselves and others. We develop as more empowered individuals with sustainable relationships based on mutual respect and compassion.
Cynthia operates from a basic philosophy that the soul- or psyche- within each of us has an innate intelligence and path of unfolding. In a grounded and compassionate way, Cynthia supports her clients in working through painful or limiting patterns and in learning to perceive and trust one’s inner wisdom for guidance and healing. Cynthia brings together psychodynamic, somatic, ecopsychological, and transpersonal methods, adapted to each person’s individual needs. Psychotherapy is a means to challenge ourselves to grow towards our truest nature, which is where we find our greatest gifts for the world.
